OT CYBER SECURITY SPECIALIST

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced and certified OT Cyber Security Specialists to support complex Operational Technology (OT) cyber security environments.

Successful candidates will have practical experience in securing, assessing, monitoring and protecting Operational Technology environments and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct OT Cyber Security assessments.
• Perform vulnerability assessments within OT environments.
• Support penetration testing activities.
• Perform OT asset inventory and verification.
• Assess and improve OT Cyber Security controls.
• Support implementation and maintenance of security controls.
• Perform OT security monitoring and analysis.
• Identify and investigate potential cyber security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Support application whitelisting initiatives.
• Assist with OT Cyber Security change management.
• Produce weekly and monthly cyber security reports.
• Support cyber security awareness and induction training.
• Assist with incident identification, investigation and response.
• Support implementation of secure OT environments and architectures.
• Apply appropriate cyber security controls and practices across OT systems and connected devices.

These activities are directly aligned with the OT Cyber Security Assessment, Controls, Monitoring and Reporting activities in the specification.

Qualifications & Professional Certifications

Applicants should possess relevant qualifications and/or recognised professional certifications within areas such as:

• OT / Industrial Cyber Security
• Information Security
• Cyber Security
• Network Security
• Vulnerability Management
• Security Operations
• Incident Response
• Ethical Hacking
• Relevant OT OEM technology certification

Relevant professional registrations and OT OEM certifications will be advantageous.

Experience

Candidates should have demonstrable professional experience within Cyber Security and/or Operational Technology Cyber Security environments.

Applicants with the following levels of experience are encouraged to apply:

• Intermediate: More than 5 years’ relevant experience
• Senior: More than 10 years’ relevant experience
• Expert: More than 15 years’ relevant experience
