Outbound Calling Agent

We are looking for an experienced outbound calling agent to join our team selling technology solutions to small and mid-sized UK businesses. You will be making outbound calls to a defined target market, qualifying decision makers, handling objections, and booking discovery calls with our onboarding team.

This is a phone-first role. We expect high call volumes, careful note-taking, and accurate CRM hygiene. The script and methodology are provided. Your job is to bring them to life on the phone.

What you will do

• Make outbound calls to a curated UK prospect list, following a structured Sandler-style script.
• Engage decision makers, run discovery using open questions, and qualify opportunities.
• Handle common objections confidently and professionally.
• Book qualified discovery calls into the onboarding team's diary.
• Capture every interaction in the CRM, including pain points, current providers, contract renewal dates, and follow-up actions.
• Maintain the suppression list and respect compliance requirements (PECR, CTPS, GDPR).
• Use AI tools to research prospects, summarise calls, and improve daily output.
• Hit weekly activity and booking targets.

What you need (essential)

• Minimum 3 years of strong outbound B2B telesales experience.
• Demonstrable track record of hitting or exceeding booking and conversion targets.
• Confident, clear telephone manner with neutral or close-to-neutral English accent.
• Comfortable selling into the UK market.
• Hands-on experience with a CRM (HubSpot, Apollo, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, or similar).
• Working knowledge of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) for research, note-taking, and productivity.
• Comfortable with objection handling, gatekeepers, and difficult conversations.
• Reliable home setup: stable broadband, quiet workspace, headset.

Desirable (not essential)

• Previous experience selling IT, managed services, telecoms, SaaS, or similar technology solutions.
• Familiarity with Sandler, SPIN, or similar consultative sales methodologies.
• Experience working to UK business hours and selling into the UK SME market.

Pay: R10 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
