OWNER-DRIVER / TRANSPORT SUBCONTRACTOR Staff Transport | Newlands & Black River Park, Cape Town

We are looking for reliable owner-drivers / transport subcontractors to assist with the daily transportation of contact centre staff to and from work.

This is a subcontractor opportunity for individuals who already own and operate a suitable passenger vehicle and are looking for consistent transport work.

NIGHT-SHIFT / GRAVEYARD HOURS This transport operation will take place primarily during graveyard/night-shift hours. Applicants must therefore be comfortable operating during late-night and early-morning hours and must be able to reliably meet scheduled staff collection and drop-off times.

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS We are looking for applicants with one of the following:

Toyota Quantum or similar 14–16 seater passenger vehicle

Registered 14–16 seater minibus/taxi

Toyota 7-seater - Renault 7-seater - Other suitable 7-seater or larger passenger vehicle

Subject to approval Vehicles must be: Roadworthy and well maintained ,Clean and presentable.

Reliable and suitable for regular staff transportation

Properly licensed

Covered by appropriate insurance

Compliant with applicable passenger transport requirements

OPERATING AREA Staff transportation will primarily be associated with offices in: Newlands / Black River Park

Transportation routes may extend approximately 40–50 km from the designated office pickup/drop-off point, depending on staff residential locations and allocated routes.

Applicants should therefore be comfortable operating within this approximate service radius.

Comfortable driving during night/early-morning hours, Familiar with Cape Town roads - Able to commit to agreed transport schedules - Comfortable transporting contact centre employees

Able to provide the required vehicle and driver documentation Owner-drivers are strongly encouraged to apply.

Applicants will be screened based on their vehicle, documentation, availability, experience and suitability for the required routes. Commercial terms and subcontractor rates will be discussed with shortlisted applicants after the initial screening process. This opportunity is offered as an independent transport subcontracting arrangement and is subject to the execution of a formal subcontractor agreement and verification of all required documentation.
