Paint Consultant (Snr)

Requirements

• Previous management or supervisory experience will be advantageous.
• Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to listen, understand needs, and provide tailored solutions.
• Proven ability in sales, specifically in paint, hardware, DIY, and home improvement environments.
• Experience in manual paint mixing, colour matching, and tinting systems.
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for explaining product features, application methods, and color options clearly. Bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
• Knowledge of paint products, coatings, and application techniques, and a willingness to learn quickly and continuously.
• Previous experience in a retail setting and comfort working on the shop floor, including weekends and peak trading hours.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move stock safely, and maintain organized product displays.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively within a team to achieve store goals.
• Computer literacy and point-of-sale experience.
