Job description
MBT Auto is looking for a professional and experienced Panel Beater to join our automotive workshop in Hartbeespoort, North west, South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and determine repair requirements
- Repair or replace damaged body panels, doors, fenders, bonnets, bumpers and structural components
- Straighten vehicle chassis and frames using appropriate equipment Remove dents using suitable repair techniques
- Weld, cut and fabricate metal components where necessary Prepare repaired panels for the paint department Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards Complete repairs within allocated timeframe.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive panel beater
- Able to strip, repair, align and assemble vehicle body components
- Experience with accident damaged vehicles
- Strong knowledge of dent repairs, welding, metal shaping and body alignment Honest, reliable and committed to producing high-quality work.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Qualified Panel Beater trade certificate or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Strictly 3–5-year experience in automotive panel beating
- Valid driver's license is an added advantage
