Job description
LSR Services Group is a growing property maintenance and construction company operating across London. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to take responsibility for the day-to-day financial administration of the business.
This is a flexible, remote position suitable for someone who can work independently and keep our financial records accurate and up to date.
Main responsibilities:
Managing and maintaining our QuickBooks Online account
Recording and categorising business income and expenses
Checking and reconciling bank and Revolut transactions
Uploading and matching receipts against expenses
Preparing and maintaining customer invoices
Monitoring unpaid and overdue invoices
Recording supplier and subcontractor bills
Completing bank and credit-card reconciliations
Assisting with VAT calculations and VAT return preparation
Maintaining accurate financial records for the accountant and HMRC
Producing basic weekly and monthly financial reports
Tracking cash flow, income, expenses and outstanding payments
Identifying missing receipts, duplicate payments or financial discrepancies
Supporting the Director with anything relating to LSR’s finances and bookkeeping
Requirements:
Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
Strong experience using QuickBooks Online
Good understanding of UK VAT and bookkeeping practices
Experience with bank reconciliations, invoices and expense management
Excellent attention to detail
Reliable, organised and able to work without close supervision
Good written and spoken English
Access to a computer and reliable internet connection
Experience working with a UK property maintenance, construction or trade business would be an advantage.
Working arrangement:
The role will initially require approximately one hour per working day, or around five to seven hours per week. The working time can be flexible, provided the bookkeeping is kept up to date and agreed deadlines are met.
The hours may increase as the company grows.
Pay: R5 000,00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Umhlanga Rocks, KwaZulu-Natal
