Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal (Preferred)

Job Type: Part-Time (5 hours per week)

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing & Promotions Consultant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in promoting businesses through digital channels, particularly within the hospitality, accommodation, tourism, or travel industry. Rather than carrying out all the day-to-day marketing tasks themselves, the successful candidate will work closely with our management team to develop promotional strategies and coordinate our in-house digital marketing technicians to ensure campaigns are executed effectively. Key Responsibilities Develop creative digital marketing strategies to increase bookings and brand awareness. Provide expert guidance on promotions across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant digital platforms. Advise on hospitality marketing best practices and current industry trends. Work with management to plan campaigns and promotional activities. Brief, guide, and inspire our digital operations team to implement agreed marketing strategies. Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements.

Requirements

-Proven experience in digital marketing and social media promotions.

-Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms. Experience marketing within the hospitality, accommodation, tourism, or travel industry is highly preferred.

-Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and provide strategic direction.

-Durban-based applicants are preferred, although remote applicants with relevant experience may also be considered.

Working Hours

-Approximately 5 hours per week, will gradually increase depending on demand. Flexible working hours.
