PART-TIME FIELD MARKETER

We are a growing business supplying promotional products, corporate branding, staff uniforms, cleaning products and related business supplies. We are looking for a motivated and energetic Part-Time Field Marketer to help us find new customers and grow our sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Visit businesses and introduce our company and products.
• Identify potential customers and new business opportunities.
• Speak to business owners, managers and procurement staff.
• Promote our products and services.
• Distribute catalogues, brochures and marketing material.
• Collect customer details and build a database of prospects.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products.
• Generate leads and sales enquiries.
• Obtain quotation requests from interested customers.
• Follow up with customers after visits.
• Build and maintain good customer relationships.
• Take photos/details of potential opportunities where appropriate.
• Report daily activities and leads generated.
• Meet agreed weekly/monthly marketing targets.

TARGET MARKET

The Field Marketer will target businesses such as:

• Factories and manufacturing companies
• Warehouses
• Restaurants
• Salons and beauty businesses
• Gyms
• Schools
• Offices
• Construction companies
• Retail stores
• Supermarkets
• Spaza shops
• Hotels and guesthouses
• Property companies
• Other SMEs and corporate businesses

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous field marketing or sales experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Confident approaching businesses and speaking to decision-makers.
• Friendly, professional and presentable.
• Self-motivated and target-driven.
• Able to work independently.
• Good record-keeping skills.
• Smartphone and WhatsApp required.
• Laptop
• Own reliable transport is an advantage.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

The successful candidate will be measured on:

• Number of businesses visited.
• New leads generated.
• Decision-makers contacted.
• Quotation requests generated.
• New customers acquired.
• Sales generated.
• Follow-ups completed.
• Customer relationships developed.

POSITION

Position: Part-Time Field Marketer
Location: Durban / Phoenix and surrounding areas
Employment: Part-Time
Working Hours: Flexible
Start Date: ASAP
Remuneration: Negotiable + performance incentives/commission
