Knowledge of Sage, Pastel or QuickBooks would be useful, but candidates who can demonstrate the ability to learn these systems will also be considered.
A driver's licence is useful but is not essential.
Hours and payment R50 per hour
Initially approximately 2 hours per week
Remote work
Flexible hours can be arranged
Hours and responsibilities may increase as the business grows
Because this is initially a small role, it may suit someone who values flexibility and practical experience more than a large number of immediate working hours.
Why consider the role?
This is an opportunity to gain practical experience inside a developing small business rather than only completing repetitive data-capturing tasks.
The successful candidate may gradually gain exposure to financial administration, debtor management, accounting systems, online sales, process improvement and small-business operations.
There is potential for the role to develop with the business for someone who is dependable, accurate and interested in taking on greater responsibility.
