Part-Time Graphic Designer

The Frame & Art Factory is South Africa's longest-established custom picture framing and fine art printing company. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team on a part-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing premium product catalogues, brochures, price lists, website graphics and preparing product images for our website.

Position Details

• Location: 297 Albert Road, Woodstock, Cape Town
• Employment Type: Part-Time (2–4 days per week)
• Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:00
• Salary: R350 per day
• Work Location: On-site only. This is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design professional product catalogues and brochures
• Design price lists and sales literature
• Create website banners and promotional graphics
• Edit, retouch and prepare product images for website uploads
• Maintain a consistent premium brand identity across all marketing material
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly or similar to improve workflow and productivity
• Work closely with the sales team to create visually appealing marketing material

Requirements

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop (essential)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Experience designing catalogues, brochures and printed marketing material
• Knowledge of AI tools for design and content creation
• Strong understanding of layout, typography and branding
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Reliable, organised and professional
• Must be able to work from our offices in Woodstock
