Job description

Welbedacht Therapeutic Centre is looking for an experienced, responsible and clinically confident Registered Nurse to work independently in our small, four-bed medically supervised detoxification unit.

This is a calm, low-acuity environment with a small patient load. Patients are assessed prior to admission and medically unstable patients are not admitted to the unit. Admissions vary, so the position is flexible, and there may be weeks when fewer or no shifts are required.

Although the environment is generally quiet, the nurse must be able to work independently and respond appropriately should a medical complication or emergency occur.

Pay: R200,00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
