Position 1: Freelance Seamstress (Not Tailor)

We are seeking a skilled Seamstress who understands the delicate craftsmanship required in bridal and evening wear. This role is not for a tailor; it is specifically for someone experienced in working with gowns, lace, satin, chiffon, and other fine fabrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise alterations on bridal gowns, evening dresses, and mother‑of‑the‑bride ensembles.
• Work with delicate trims, veils, and embellishments to ensure flawless finishes.
• Collaborate with the boutique team to meet client fitting schedules and deadlines.
• Maintain the highest standards of garment care and presentation.
• Provide input on fabric handling and finishing techniques to support design execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a seamstress, preferably in bridal or formal wear.
• Strong knowledge of hand‑sewing, machine stitching, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to work with luxury fabrics and intricate detailing.
• Attention to detail, patience, and pride in delivering perfection.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

This freelance position is ideal for someone who finds joy in the artistry of sewing and takes pride in helping brides and clients feel confident on their special day. Flexibility and availability for fittings are essential.
