Part-Time Social Worker

• Ideal for: A newly qualified social worker looking to gain practical experience and develop their skills.
• Location: Schools in the Helderberg, Macassar or Eerste River areas.
• Hours: 2 days per week, from 08:00–14:30, based at schools.
• Additional hours: A half day twice a month may be required for team meetings, in-house training and administrative tasks.
• Role focus: Providing support to teenagers identified as being at risk of substance use.
• Key responsibilities: Conducting assessments and delivering individual and group sessions with learners.
• Administration: Administrative work not completed during school hours can be completed off-site.
• Learning opportunity: A valuable opportunity for a newly qualified social worker to gain experience in school-based social work, adolescent support, group facilitation and substance-use interventions.

Pay: From R8 000,00 per month
