Job description
Our client, a leading provider of contract logistics and supply chain solutions, is seeking experienced New Business Professionals to join their growing sales team. Opportunities are available at Junior, Mid and Senior levels depending on experience.
This role is focused on identifying, developing and securing new business within Contract Logistics, Warehousing and Dedicated Contract solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for building long-term client relationships, developing tailored logistics solutions and converting opportunities into profitable business partnerships.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Relevant commercial, sales, logistics or supply chain qualification advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 6+ years' senior business development experience within:
- Contract Logistics
- Warehousing
- Dedicated Contract Solutions
- Demonstrated success securing large, strategic accounts.
- Strong commercial negotiation experience.
- Experience engaging executive-level decision makers.
Knowledge & Technical Skills
Successful candidates should demonstrate experience with:
- Contract Logistics solutions
- Warehousing operations
- Inventory management
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Supply chain operations
- Tender/RFP/RFQ processes
- Commercial proposal development
- CRM systems
- Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Pipeline management and forecasting
- Sales reporting and forecasting
