Why this role matters

As our Global Partnerships Manager, you will build and scale a high-revenue global partnership ecosystem. By securing high-ticket institutional group travel programs and expanding strategic reseller networks, you will directly increase our global reach.

What you'll be doing

Strategic partnership development: Identify, negotiate, and launch high-impact strategic partnerships and revenue-generating reseller channels across South Africa, the UK, the US, and the EU.

Institutional sales and deal closure: Pitch and close high-ticket educational or institutional group travel programs directly with school leadership, boards, and university decision-makers (e.g. Deans, Study abroad directors) to secure formal budget sign-offs.

Pipeline and portfolio management: Personally manage a robust pipeline of 50+ active partnerships at any given stage, ensuring strong relationship maintenance and momentum.

Outbound process optimisation: Set up, manage, and refine multi-channel outbound processes (emails, calls, LinkedIn) to consistently convert cold leads into high-value partnership meetings.

Playbook and process creation: Design, build, and document comprehensive outbound sales playbooks and standardised partnership processes for the wider team to execute seamlessly.

Targeted presentations: Deliver highly professional online presentations tailored to distinct audiences, including senior academic staff, teenagers, and their parents.

Cross-functional leadership: Align sales, marketing, and business development teams to maximise partnership outcomes and generate B2C leads through tailored marketing initiatives.

Team management and coaching: Coach junior business development or partnership executives to improve performance and hit commercial targets.

Performance tracking and reporting: Set up and utilise salesforce dashboards to closely monitor business development progress, track pipeline health, and align actions with gross profit targets.

What you bring to the team

3+ years of experience identifying, negotiating, and launching high-impact strategic partnerships.

Experience identifying new types of strategic partnerships.

Extensive experience managing a full partnership sales cycle, from initial outreach to negotiation and contract closure.

Experience in personally managing 50+ partnerships at any one stage.

Demonstrated experience setting up and managing multi-channel outbound processes (emails, calls, LinkedIn) to convert leads into meetings.

Strong experience building and documenting outbound sales playbooks or partnership processes for a team to execute.

Extensive experience presenting online to senior academic staff and teenagers.

Experience in generating B2C leads through tailored marketing initiatives.

Experience in formally managing and coaching junior business development or partnership executives.

Experience leading cross-functional initiatives by aligning sales, marketing, and business development, teams to maximize partnership outcomes.

Bonus if you also have:

Experience with revenue-generating reseller channels.

Proven experience securing institutional commitment and budget sign-off for high-value group programs, faculty-led travel or student cohorts from university decision-makers (e.g. Deans, Study abroad directors).

Proven experience in pitching, negotiating, and closing high-cost institutional group travel programs or high-ticket educational products directly with school leadership and boards.

Experience setting up salesforce dashboards to track business development progress and pipeline health.

Experience presenting online to the parents of teenagers.

Experience in B2C sales and working directly toward gross profit targets.

Existing experience in forming partnerships within South Africa, the UK, the US, and the EU.
