EE Position
Introduction:
Komatsu is looking for an experienced Parts Interpreter in the construction/mining industry, to assist with warehouse functions in their bellville brunch. The preferred candidate should have a minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in Supply Chain & Logistics and 1 year of supervisory experience would be an advantage. The position is customer facing therefore strong interpersonal communication skills is essential.
Qualification:
- Grade 12.
- 2–3-year Diploma in Supply Chain & Logistics (Advantage)
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-4 years parts experience and/experience in warehouse .
- 1-year supervisory experience (Advantage)
- MS- Excel.
- SAP (Parts Ordering).
- Drivers license.
Job description:
- Executes parts sales.
- Provides advice to the customer.
- Reports customer issues/problems.
- Executes the parts ordering process.
- Administrates the introduction of new parts into the system.
- Follows up on emergency and backorders.
- Generates Parts Inventory Availability Reports.
- Generates backorder report.
- Executes Parts Returns from the customer.
- Prints credit note reports for review by management.
- Plans stock counts in conjunction with management.
- Executes and participates in stock counts.
- Print stock reports on variances and write-offs/write-ups for review by management.
- Executes general office administration.
