Job description
Our Dealership in Somerset West has a vacancy for a Parts Manager.
Responsibilities, not limited to:
1. Forecasting: needs and ordering parts to maintain & monitor optimal inventory levels
2. Manage: parts receiving, inventory and properly labelling
3. Overseeing special orders
4. Collaborating with service managers to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs
5. Stocktake once a month
6. Training of staff
Requirements:
1. Prior experience in the same role (min 4 – 5 years)
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3. Above average computer skills (Evolve & IAL preferred packages)
4. Attention to detail
5. Mathematical skills to manage inventory issues
6. Preferred - Previous mechanic or car sales experience
7. Leadership skills to keep the parts department running smoothly
