Parts Storeman

Location: Dals Auto Panel, Montague Gardens

Minimum requirements

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
• Code B driver’s licence.
• At least 2 year’s working experience as a parts storeman.
• Previous experience working in the automotive repair industry would be advantageous.
• The ability to distinguish between various vehicle parts (Body parts, electronics, mechanical and suspension).
• High level of computer literacy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Previous experience working on TMS would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage the ordering of parts, tools, and consumables.
• Update team on parts availability and arrival times.
• Receive/dispatch parts and ensure parts received correspond with invoices.
• Loading of parts on TMS software.
• Store parts in an organised manner and ensure the stores are kept neat.
• Ensure the stores department complies with health and safety standards.
