Job description
Key Outputs

To perform the daily parts management related tasks and provide support to the regional Parts Manager/Depot Manager effectively and efficiently.

Communicate and ensure accessibility to process documentation by all personnel.
-
Coordinate the relevant subject matter required by team to deliver process design within set timeframe.

Ensure the parts team works according to policies, principles, processes, and procedures of the parts department.

Lead and manage a parts process team using “Great People Management” principles, while following the BWE Leadership philosophy and demonstrating value driven leadership.

Motivate and drive the required behaviour aligned to the brand.

Manage parts related reports.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
-
Matric (Grade 12), tertiary qualification will be an added advantage.

Previous significant experience as a parts supervisor is a vital non-negotiable.

Be a team player with the ability to liaise and operate with various departments.

Sound computer system knowledge – MS Office and SAP.

Business acumen, most preferably within the present Caterpillar systems.

Sound parts operations experience - data analysis, proactive inventory management in collaboration with the inventory planner.

Warehouse experience, parts sales management, participative leadership, day to day parts management of a depot-based team.

Business financials exposure, attention to detail, planning and organisation, basic numeracy, good analytical skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills, effective interpersonal relations, effective customer relations.

Good time management, problem solving, excellence orientation, rule orientation, networking/liaison.

Innovation and creativity, Link business imperatives with systems solutions.

Experience managing a parts operation is advantageous.
