Job description

VACANCY: PATISSERIE CHEF

A fast paced, FSA accredited, successful family run, wholesale bakery serving the needs of the retail, food service and hospitality industry,is looking to employ a Patisserie Chef to join our team. The successful candidate would be required to drive product development , train and upskill staff along with supporting in the production variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, and baked goods ensuring at all times high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked goods

· Decorate and present pastries to a high standard

· Follow recipes and maintain consistency in production

· Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen

· Manage stock and ingredients for pastry production

Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years experience as a Patisserie Chef or Pastry Chef

· Knowledge of pastry techniques and dessert preparation

· Creativity and attention to detail

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Good time management and teamwork skills

Qualification:

· Certificate or Diploma in Pastry / Patisserie (preferred)

· Culinary training from a recognized hospitality or culinary school
