Your Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake premium pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, and viennoiserie.
Decorate and finish products to the highest presentation standards.
Develop new recipes and seasonal menu items.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance across all products.
Maintain exceptional food safety and hygiene standards.
Manage ingredient preparation and stock rotation.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Collaborate with the bakery team to maintain operational excellence.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef.
Formal culinary or pastry qualification is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of laminated doughs, cakes, desserts, pastries, and artisan baking.
Creative with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Able to work weekends and public holidays.
Reliable transport to Faerie Glen, Pretoria.
