EXPERIENCED PAYROLL SCHEDULING AND ROSTERING OFFICER
SECURITY AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
· Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
· Security Rostering Experience Essential
· Security Sector knowledge and skills
· Experience in working on biometric clocking and restoring systems
· Advanced Computer Literacy
· High level of analytical skills in numeracy and planning
· Time management skills
- Technical Proficiency: Experience using workforce management and scheduling software and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet to resolve scheduling conflicts and last-minute callouts.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication to negotiate shifts and update employees on their schedules.
- Organizational Skills: High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
· Reviewing and monitoring Labour Management Effectiveness and Cost Efficiency and Deployment.
· Analysing and interpreting labour management trends.
· Proposing recommendations on modifications and controls of management as appropriate.
· Implementing recommendations and monitor effectiveness.
· Ensuring compliance to local statutory employment terms in both time and attendance system.
· Maintaining and controlling of wage rules and shift patterns within approved parameters.
· Auditing, monitoring, and reporting on compliance to minimum standards of the company.
· May be required to develop and setup processes and procedures to comply to standards where not present or refine/improve as needed.
· liaising with Sales and Operations to maintain contract requirements.
· Ensuring that People Resource Planning (PRP) is updated and amended with new and lost business.
· Updating contract requirements.
· Ensuring the decentralised loading of sundry services onto the rostering system.
· Ensuring Compliance with Policy and procedure in relation to PRP
· Maintaining administrative reports
· Auditing sites on PRP compliance initiating training on procedure and PRP for new and existing PRP administrators.
· Management and control of the PRP Wage Management system Nationally
· Administration of all wage related processed from HR department, including new employees, terminations, resignation, salary structures and restructuring, leave planning and provisions, sick leave, allowances, and promotions Nationally.
· Drafting, planning and carrying out of in-house training on systems and procedures and induction of new employees relating to rosters
· Drafting and implementing systems and procedures
· Submission and drafting of all statistical data to Managing Director pertaining to overall operational running of guarding wages.
· Setup and implementation of new project from start to handover on Rostering
· Investigating incidents and compiling reports
· Rostering staff on various sites in line with contract compliance
