Job description

Capture employee information correctly and accurately on the payroll system. Process client timesheets, including leaves taken, allowances etc. on D-Bit Payroll System. Create, Update and maintain leave schedules on excel.

Requirements

· Matric NQF Level 4.

· Excel Knowledge – Advanced Excel Skills

· Computer Literate.

· Basic Conditions of Employment Act.

· Drivers license

· Your own vehicle (Preferable)

Ø Key Responsibilities & Duties

· Create, Update, Maintain Payroll timesheet Templates.

· Capture New employee information on payroll.

· When required review captured employee information and ensure the required fields are updated.

· Ensure that the employee timesheets comply with the respective councils (e.g. BCEA, MEIBC, NBCRFI etc.) regulations.

· Prepare and Reconcile Weekly/Monthly reports for finance department.

· Complete Employment confirmation letters when required to do so.

· Attend to Employee queries and respond within the provided timeframe.

· Review timesheets prior to processing.

· Attend to Emails.

· Keep track of employee Headcount & History.

· Timekeeping

Ø Essential Skills & Traits

· Pay attention to detail – Minimize and reduce errors in calculations and data capturing.

· Analytical Skills – Be able to analyse data and identify discrepancies and trends and resolve problems that might come up.

· Mathematical Knowledge – Be able to calculate payrates, charge rates, Bonusses, payment percentages, Overtime.

· Excel Knowledge – Understand the basic principles of Microsoft Excel

· Administrative skills – File weekly/Bi-Weekly & Monthly payrolls in a professional, understandable and easily accessible manner.

· Communication Skills – Able to communicate any queries, concerns clearly.

· Accountability for your own actions.

· Office & Desk cleanliness.
