Job description
Job Purpose
To perform back-office payroll operations to employees group-wide pertaining to HR matters by professionally handling incoming issues/queries to ensure all issues/queries are recorded and resolved in accordance with established guidelines and SLA.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Payroll Data Maintenance
- Ensure Payroll Data correctness by performing data entry of all payroll related fields and updating payroll related data as requested to ensure integrity of payroll related master data
Tax Data Administration
- Ensure correctness of Tax data through administering Tax year and month end processes to ensure compliance with tax requirements
Payroll & Benefits Policy Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to policies by ensuring that all changes requested are in line with policy before effecting the change and the correct approvals are received before processing requested changes in order to ensure compliance to adherence to Payroll and Benefits Policies
Payroll Query Resolution
- Provide effective and efficient customer support by ensuring that the logged incoming queries are resolved within agreed timelines and SLA and at the level that meets the customer expectations
Requirements
Baseline:
- NQF Level 5 (Higher Certificate in Human Resources/ Business Administration or relevant)
- 3 years experience in Payroll Administration
- Experience in SAP HR & SAP FI Systems
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel
Advantageous:
- NQF Level 6 (Diploma in HR)
