Location: Bothasig, Cape Town, Western Cape
PBX / VoIP Technician – Yeastar & Porta Experience Essential
Intergro Technologies is looking for an experienced PBX / VoIP Technician to join our technical team. This position is suited to someone with strong troubleshooting skills and proven experience working with Yeastar PBX systems and Porta (PortaOne) platforms.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a PBX/VoIP Technician.
- Proven hands-on experience with Yeastar PBX systems (essential).
- Proven experience working with PortaOne / Porta billing and VoIP platforms (essential).
- Solid understanding of:
- SIP protocols
- VoIP networking
- IP telephony
- NAT, VLANs and QoS
- Experience configuring SIP trunks, extensions, IVRs, queues, ring groups and call routing.
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routers, firewalls and switches).
- Experience with remote support and on-site fault finding.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and maintain Yeastar PBX systems.
- Configure and manage PortaOne/Porta platforms.
- Provision SIP accounts, trunks and customer services.
- Diagnose and resolve VoIP, network and call quality issues.
- Perform upgrades, backups and system migrations.
- Provide on-site installations and remote technical support.
- Liaise with carriers and service providers when required.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and job reports.
- Assist with after-hours support on a rotational basis when required.
