HR Operations specialist

People Lab is the HiBob implementation and managed services division of Futurist, a business built around a private network of senior People Leaders (CPOs, CHROs and VPs of People) at VC and PE-backed tech companies. We implement and manage HiBob for fast-growth businesses, and we're growing the team that delivers it.

This is a role for someone who has solid hands-on experience in an HRIS or People Ops role and is ready to take the next step - not into a bigger in-house team, but into a specialist practice where you'll be surrounded by people who live and breathe HR technology.

You'll work across a small portfolio of clients, supported by senior practitioners, and build your HiBob expertise faster than you would in almost any in-house role.

What you'll do

• Keep HiBob running smoothly for your client accounts; accurate data, clean records, timely updates
• Ensure each customer is maximising the benefits of the platform, and aware of the future product roadmap
• Process employee lifecycle changes: new starters, leavers, role changes, and everything in between
• Maintain org structures, permissions, and basic configuration as clients change and grow
• Run standard reports and pull data when clients need visibility on their people
• Be the first point of contact for day-to-day system queries from client HR teams, escalating to senior colleagues where needed
• Support onboarding of new clients alongside the broader People Lab team
• Flag anything that looks off - data quality, process gaps, or where a client could be using Bob better

What we're looking for

• Around 3 years' experience in a People Operations, HR Operations, or HRIS administration role
• The right character - we want people who ENJOY what they do and personally motivated by maximising the outputs of their HiBob platform
• Hands-on experience with HiBob is a real advantage; but solid experience with a comparable platform (BambooHR, Personio, Charlie HR etc) and a genuine appetite to specialise in Bob will be considered
• Comfortable with the fundamentals of HR process: employee lifecycle, basic reporting, data management
• A clear communicator who can respond to client queries professionally and calmly
• Strong organisational skills - and the ability to spin several plates at the same time
• Enthusiasm to learn - this is essential, we want people in team who are genuinely enthusiastic about HR Tech, and are excited to develop their career within the modern HR Tech world.
