SAHETI School is an independent, co-educational, English-medium school dedicated to the
pursuit of excellence, while promoting the ethos and values of Hellenism. The school is situated
in Senderwood, Bedfordview.
SAHETI School invites applications from suitably experienced and dynamic individuals for the
position of Personal Assistant to the Executive Head. The successful candidate will provide
high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Head, ensuring the efficient
management of daily operations, correspondence, records, and executive schedules. The role
requires exceptional organisational skills, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage
confidential information.
Minimum Requirements
- A Secretarial Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 3–5 years' experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant,
preferably within an educational environment.
- Proven experience in managing executive schedules, correspondence, and
administrative functions.
- The ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Strong organisational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- The ability to speak, write, read and understand Greek is required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing the Executive Head's diary, appointments, telephone calls, and email
correspondence.
- Taking, recording, and typing minutes for meetings, including Senior Staff meetings,
General Staff meetings, disciplinary hearings, and other school-related meetings.
- Assisting with staff administration by preparing new employee files, maintaining staff
records, and managing leavers' documentation.
- Monitoring staff leave and communicating relevant information to HR department.
- Preparing weekly updates on substitute teachers and following up on leave applications.
- Maintaining confidential staff files and ensuring accurate filing systems are in place.
- Administering scholarship and bursary records and preparing related correspondence.
- Maintaining updated lists of guests and committees.
- Implementing and maintaining effective administrative procedures and systems.
- Liaising professionally with staff, suppliers, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Preparing letters, reports presentations, and other official documentation as required by
the Executive Head.
- Undertaking additional duties related to the role as delegated by the Executive Head.
