Job description
Blue Cross Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Shop Assistant to join the team!
The successful candidate must be passionate, knowledgeable, energetic and driven.
This is a full-time position and below are the main responsibilities of the role:
- Working closely with the shop manager to ensure stock levels are maintained and orders are placed correctly in a timely fashion
- Assisting clients with finding the right products and providing accurate product information
- Intermediate computer proficiency & experience with POS sales
-Organizing products on the shelf
- Flare for retail and very passionate about animals and their well being
-Greeting and welcoming clients as well as assisting with carrying purchases / pet carriers
-Ensuring products are not near expiry
Qualifications & Necessary Traits/Attributes:
- Matric or equivalent
- Reliable and trustworthy
-Consistent
- Verifiable experience of at least one year in retail / product sales
- Good communication skills
- Initiative + carrying and packing inventory
- Hardworking
- Engaging and energetic
