Tebellong LECSA Hospital in Qacha’s Nek is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the following position;

JOB TITLE: PHARMACIST SUPERVISOR: MEDICAL SUPERINTENDENT JOB SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Medical Superintendent, the incumbent oversees the daily running of the pharmacy department. He/she is responsible for ordering medicine and supplies and ensuring intact systems for delivery of services.

Duties And Responsibilities

Support the quantification of medicines used at district and health facility levels
Coordinate and implement medicines inventory management and address discrepancies as reported
Conduct supportive supervision on user departments and health facilities under the hospital to improve rational use of medicines, storage, stock management and dispensing practices
Strengthen storage standards of medicines, supplies and equipment, and ensure maintenance of optimal environmental conditions for medicines.
Prepare monthly and quarterly pharmacy department reports for management and clinical meetings
Supervise the pharmacy department staff

Jod Requirements

Bachelor of Pharmacy
Valid retention certificate of the Lesotho Medical, Dental and Pharmacy Council
At least 5 years working experience as a Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacist
