Job Overview:
The pharmacy field representative is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with pharmacy customers, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and supporting the effective execution of company programs in field.

This role focuses on consistent customer engagement, operational excellence, and ensuring that all in-store activities are delivered in line with company standards and individual KPIs. The specialist will work closely with internal teams to support customer needs, resolve issues, and contribute to overall business growth.

Essential Functions:

Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacy customers through regular, structured engagement.
Identify, sign up, and onboard new pharmacy customers to support network growth and business objectives.
Support the implementation and ongoing adoption of pharmacy programs, business solutions, and customer initiatives.
Conduct scheduled field visits to understand customer needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
Execute consistent, high-quality service delivery during all customer interactions.
Ensure compliance with company standards by conducting routine checks and maintaining accurate documentation.
Capture and maintain all customer activities, interactions, and follow-ups in CRM systems.
Identify and resolve operational issues, coordinating with internal teams and escalating when required.
Plan and manage visit schedules effectively to meet defined activity and performance targets.
Utilize sales tools, systems, and marketing materials to support customer engagement and business growth.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and market developments.

Qualifications:

Pharmacist's Assistant (NQF Level 4-5) from a SAPC accredited provider
> 5 years Pharmacy related experience (retail or hospital), or any other related business experience
Demonstrable business development experience (B2B)
Knowledge of Life Science and/or Pharmaceutical Industry
Possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to organize and prioritize own work
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and across multiple field sales organizations
Possess strong computer skills (MS Office Suite: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and MS Copilot)
Maintain focus and commitment on assigned targets
Ability to analyse and interpret data from a variety of sources and systems
An attitude which is positive, energetic, flexible and supportive in a challenging environment
Must be able to manage conflict resolution
Must be able to travel, with access to own vehicle and Valid Drivers License
Must have access to a reliable internet connection at home
