About Us
The Back Clinic is a multidisciplinary healthcare team dedicated to helping patients recover from pain, injury, and physical dysfunction through evidence-based care.
We are looking for a qualified Physiotherapist to join our Rustenburg practice as a fixed locum, working every Thursday and Friday.
About the Role
As a Locum Physiotherapist, you will provide professional, patient-centred physiotherapy care while working alongside a multidisciplinary team. You will assess and treat patients, develop individualised treatment plans, and support patients in achieving their recovery goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
- Provide effective hands-on physiotherapy interventions.
- Educate patients on their condition, treatment goals, and recovery.
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and patient records.
- Collaborate with doctors, biokineticists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow all clinical and operational policies and procedures.
- Provide a professional and compassionate patient experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Current HPCSA registration.
- Valid BHF number.
- Minimum of 1 year post-community service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Availability every Thursday and Friday.
