Rayton / Pretoria Area – Gauteng: The Packhouse assistant will help drive process, efficiency, output and client satisfaction.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Matric Certificate.
Able to speak and understand Afrikaans and English. Other African native languages will be beneficial.
Code 8 driver’s licence.
Valid RSA ID.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Email).

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Management of staff to prepare customer orders to the highest standards.
Development of standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
Implementation and enforcement of existing standard operating procedures.
Recording of packhouse data for decision making.
Planning and organising of drivers and trucks for deliveries.
Communication with clients regarding orders.
Training of packhouse employees to improve process and systems.
Management of harvesting teams to bring crops to packhouse for orders.
