Job description
The Recovery Studio is looking for a passionate, energetic, and professional individual to join our team. The ideal candidate has an interest in health, fitness, rehabilitation, and client care, and is eager to learn and grow within the wellness industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with Mat and Reformer Pilates classes
- Conduct client assessments and guide clients through their recovery plans.
- Assist with recovery treatments, including compression therapy, sports massage, and other recovery services.
- Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is clean, organised, and ready for use.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming, and hygienic studio environment.
- Assist with booking appointments, client communication, and administrative duties.
- Support marketing activities by creating social media content when required.
- Educate clients on the benefits of movement, recovery, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Human Movement Science, Biokinetics, Sport Science, Exercise Science, Physiotherapy, or a related field
- Pilates qualification
- Passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and be trained in Recovery Studio methods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and organised.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift: 07:30 – 13:00. Hours may differ and will sometimes only be 2-3 classes a day
- Afternoon shift 17:00-19:00
- Additional afternoon or weekend hours may be required when needed.
