Pizza Maker

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Maker to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring orders are prepared efficiently and consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and stretch pizza dough according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
• Prepare sauces, toppings, cheese, and other ingredients.
• Assemble and cook pizzas to the required specifications.
• Operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently.
• Ensure pizzas are consistently cooked, presented, and portioned to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pizza station and kitchen.
• Follow food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ingredient preparation and storage.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Assist other kitchen staff when required.
• Minimise food waste and maintain proper food storage procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pizza Maker, Pizza Chef, or in a similar kitchen role is required.
• Knowledge of pizza preparation and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and well organised.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
