Job Advert Summary
Drive effective and accurate supply planning through the daily deployment of Perishable and Principal products, while facilitating the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for the Supply Planning unit. The role ensures the right products are available at the right place and time, supporting optimal stock levels, service delivery and overall supply chain performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree
- Business English: Fluent
- Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level
- Computer literacy (Advanced)
Duties and Responsibilities
Optimise interbranch Perishable/ Principle network planning
- Optimise the Perishable/ Principle network flow and determine the most cost effective supply channel, factory and route
- Calculate total orders prior to executing of orders
- Identify and resolve constraints in the principle supply network
- Liaise with Customers to ensure smooth execution of orders and network plans
Optimise and execute the daily/weekly orders from Perishable/ Principles
- Execute customers weekly orders from Perishable/ Principles
- Balance the daily/weekly movement against the masterplan
Report on Perishable/ Principles deployment
- Communicate daily plans in time
- Compile principle reports - daily/weekly/monthly
Optimise production plans & warehousing capacity for industrial and semi finished products
- Plan industrial and semi finished goods on a weekly basis
- Ensure availability of principles to the current demand
- Act as link between Clover and Principle with regards to placed orders
Facilitate the IBP process within the supply planning team
- Ensure transactional data timings
- Act as link between the Planning development team and the Supply planning team
- Monitor and take responsibility of masters, updating of masters data
