Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly organised, fashion-focused individual with drive and a passion for product, particularly beauty and fragrance. The Planning Affiliate is a hands-on position focused on supporting merchandise planning, e-commerce activities, and marketing execution, ensuring the successful delivery of product launches, promotions, and day-to-day website operations.### Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively between head office and stores to ensure alignment including:
  • Training and sharing information around new brands
  • Stock upliftments that need to be actioned
• Updating and sharing the launch tracker
• Compiling and uploading Task Requests
• Online: drive the loading of brands/new products and gifting onto the website
• Obtain images and product details to upload
• Ensure new launches and gifting are uploaded timeously, and that any banners/visuals/content/ products/links are updated at the correct time/date
• Implement promotions & marketing content online
• Manage and ensure the implementation of the marketing plan/key focuses for each half in collaboration with the Planners and brands online
• Collect the necessary content to use for each product or service offering, ensuring that the brand message and goals align with the rest of the company
• Implementation of marketing campaigns designed to increase online traffic and acquire new customers, and campaigns to retain our current customers
• Keep a promotions calendar, track all e-commerce marketing efforts, analyze data, and use your findings to improve your strategies
• Manage product catalog in Catman
• Efficient use of written skills to ensure high quality information for our customers & properly edited product information
• Create strong, trusted relationships with the Planners & suppliers
• Support the team in developing and maintaining new and existing marketing channels
• Contribute to the development of Marketing and Ecommerce initiatives
• Facilitate the printing of Gift Cards between the Gift Card Planner, the printers/suppliers and the Designers
• Assist colleagues with additional administrative tasks that arise in the greater team
• Coordinate centre court events including: booking with centre management, completing necessary paperwork, processing payment with finance and any follow up analyses measuring the success of the court and sharing this with the team and management
• Periodically updating and reviewing the brand landing pages on the website
• Briefing selected GWP’s to the online team and monitoring stocks and performance of these
• Ability to review marketing briefs and edit these where necessary to come in line with requirements and to ensure that the communication to customers is aligned with the company objectives

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Matric qualification
• Computer literacy: An affinity and ability to work with spreadsheets is essential; must be able to use Excel as well as relevant systems
