Plasterer

AAH Construction is seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join our construction and maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying plaster, repairing walls and ceilings, and ensuring all plastering work is completed neatly, safely, and according to required quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role
• Trade Test Certificate or relevant plastering qualification will be an added advantage
• Experience in construction, building maintenance, repairs, and renovations
• Knowledge of wall plastering, ceiling plastering, skimming, patching, screeding, and surface preparation
• Ability to mix plaster, cement, and mortar correctly
• Ability to use plastering tools and equipment safely
• Must be reliable, punctual, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
• Must follow site health and safety rules at all times

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare walls, ceilings, and surfaces before plastering
• Mix and apply plaster, cement, mortar, and other finishing materials
• Plaster internal and external walls according to specifications
• Repair cracks, damaged plaster, and uneven surfaces
• Perform skimming, patching, and finishing work
• Ensure surfaces are smooth, level, and ready for painting or final finishes
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
• Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor or Construction Supervisor
• Follow all site health and safety procedures
• Assist with other general construction and maintenance duties when required
