Plumbing Representative Agent-Port Elizabeth

We are looking for a highly motivated, target-driven External Sales Representative to join our wholesale plumbing company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing sales, developing new wholesale customers, servicing existing accounts and achieving monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with plumbing merchants, hardware stores, retailers
• Actively source and secure new wholesale customers and business opportunities.
• Visit customers regularly and build long-term business relationships.
• Promote and sell the company's range of plumbing products.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Prepare quotations and actively follow up on leads and opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to increase product ranges and customer spend.
• Monitor competitor pricing, products and market activity.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer queries efficiently.
• Follow up on outstanding orders, quotations and accounts.
• Maintain accurate customer, sales and visit records.
• Assist with achieving agreed sales and collection targets.

Requirements

• Previous external sales experience, in the plumbing, hardware, sanitaryware, building or wholesale industry.
• Existing relationships within the plumbing or hardware trade will be an advantage.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and closing skills.
• Highly motivated, energetic and results-driven.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own customer base and territory.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle essential.
• Willingness to travel and conduct regular customer visits.
• Basic computer literacy.

Remuneration

Competitive Basic Salary+Commission + Fuel Allowance
