Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Contributing to the research, consulting, writing and presenting of DA policy, including documents and position papers that flow from it
- Giving practical effect to the DA’s vision of an Open Opportunity Society for All as well as the values, principles, and ideals on which it is founded
- Understanding and applying the Party’s strategy as it relates to the DA’s policy programme

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in social sciences, public policy, law, or economics
- Research experience (advantageous)
- Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite

- Aalyse, synthesise, and present complex information (qualitative and quantitative) in an understandable manner

- Be outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
- Work independently
- Apply sound judgement
