Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Pool Technician to join our team.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Pool Technician who is confident working independently and has practical experience in pool maintenance, equipment servicing, repairs and or fibreglass work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining pools to a high standard, servicing pool equipment, identifying and resolving problems, and carrying out fibreglass-related work when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular swimming pool cleaning and maintenance
• Vacuum pools, brush walls and tiles, and clean skimmer and pump baskets
• Test and balance pool water chemistry, including chlorine, pH and alkalinity
• Inspect, service and maintain pumps, filters, heaters and other pool equipment
• Diagnose equipment faults and carry out minor repairs and servicing
• Identify potential problems and recommend appropriate repairs
• Carry out fibreglass pool repairs, preparation and finishing work when and if required
• Assist with fibreglass resurfacing and restoration projects when required
• Maintain accurate records of services and work completed
• Communicate professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service
• Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean and organised
• Follow all company, health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in pool maintenance and servicing is a MUST
• Practical fibreglass experience is highly advantageous
• Good knowledge of swimming pool equipment and basic troubleshooting
• Understanding of pool chemicals and water chemistry
• Ability to perform maintenance, servicing and minor repairs
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid Driver’s Licence is a MUST
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the company
