We are looking for a Pharmacist Assistant to join our Clinical Trials Division . In this role, you will support the safe and compliant handling of clinical trial supplies and pharmaceutical products within a warehouse environment.
What You Will Do
- Support end-to-end warehouse operations for clinical trial supplies
- Receive, store, handle and distribute pharmaceutical products
- Maintain accurate documentation and drug accountability records
- Ensure compliance with Good Pharmacy Practice and Good Wholesale Practice
- Support the handling of controlled substances where required
- Work with internal teams to investigate quality-related issues
- Participate in self-inspections and continuous improvement activities
- Follow all safety, quality and regulatory requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification
- Current registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
- Previous warehouse experience is required
- Experience in a clinical trial or pharmaceutical environment would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Good Pharmacy Practice and Good Wholesale Practice
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good planning, organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and occasional extended hours
Physical Requirements You should be able to:
- Lift and carry up to 20 kg
- Work in walk-in freezers or refrigerators
- Stand for extended periods
- Work in a warehouse environment
- Use required personal protective equipment
