Job Title: Poultry Nutrition & Livestock Technical Sales Agent
Location: South Africa
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Poultry Nutrition & Livestock Technical Sales Agent to drive sales and provide technical support for a portfolio of innovative feed additives and animal nutrition solutions across South Africa.
The successful candidate will work closely with feed mills, poultry and livestock producers, distributors, nutritionists, and veterinarians to develop business opportunities and deliver value-added technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell animal nutrition and feed additive products.
- Identify and develop new customers and distribution partners.
- Provide technical advice on poultry and livestock nutrition, feed formulation, gut health, mycotoxin management, feed preservation, and production performance.
- Conduct farm visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
- Support product trials and monitor customer results.
- Maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Prepare sales forecasts, market reports, and customer activity reports.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and customer events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in technical sales within the animal nutrition or livestock industry.
- Strong knowledge of poultry production, feed additives, and livestock nutrition.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within South Africa.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Existing network within the South African poultry and feed industry is an advantage.
