About the Role
The Back Clinic is looking for a qualified Biokineticist who is passionate about healthcare operations and interested in transitioning into a Practice Management role.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to expand their career beyond clinical practice and develop leadership, business, and operational management skills within a growing multidisciplinary healthcare group.
As Practice Manager, you will work closely with executive management while supporting our team of Doctors, Physiotherapists, and Biokineticists to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Bryanston practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the practice.
- Monitor branch performance and key operational metrics.
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure an excellent patient experience.
- Manage clinical administration, patient records, and medical aid billing.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Coordinate staff schedules, leave, payroll submissions, and locum administration.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
- Assist with stock control, procurement, and general practice administration.
- Work with the clinical team to improve efficiency, service delivery, and patient outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified and registered Biokineticist (HPCSA registered).
- Previous experience in a private healthcare practice is advantageous.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership potential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Comfortable working with healthcare management systems and technology.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
- An interest in leadership, business operations, and practice management.
