Pre-Primary Teacher - School in the Woods

At St Cyprian’s School, we believe that the early years are not simply preparation for “big school”. They are important years in their own right: a time for wonder, discovery, experimentation, relationship-building and the joyful business of making sense of the world.

We are looking for an energetic, warm and innovative Pre-Primary Teacher to join our School in the Woods team.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Foundation Phase educator who understands that young children learn deeply when they are given opportunities to play, inquire, question, create, explore and think for themselves .

We are looking for an educator who brings both heart and intention to the classroom: someone who understands child development, notices the individual child, creates environments in which curiosity can flourish, and is excited by the possibilities of contemporary early-years education.
