A leading premium interiors business is looking for an exceptional sales professional with the judgement, presence and design instinct to guide clients through high-value purchasing decisions.

This is not a conventional showroom role, and it is not suited to an order taker.

The right person will combine strong consultative selling ability with an appreciation for beautiful spaces, technical detail and the psychology behind significant client investments.

Industry experience is not essential. The ability to sell, build trust and learn quickly is.

The role

You will manage the client journey from the initial conversation through to the signed order.

This includes understanding the client’s lifestyle, preferences, budget and expectations, then working with internal design and technical teams to develop a tailored solution.

You will be expected to:

• Build relationships with discerning private clients and professional stakeholders
• Translate broad ideas into clear, commercially viable solutions
• Present concepts, materials and finishes with confidence
• Manage a consultative sales process from enquiry to close
• Discuss substantial investments professionally and without discomfort
• Negotiate constructively and ask for the business
• Maintain disciplined follow-up across a longer sales cycle
• Work closely with design, manufacturing and installation teams
• Protect the client experience throughout the process
• Learn the company’s products, systems, technical processes and design software

What can be taught

The successful candidate will receive training in the company’s design software, product range, manufacturing processes, technical systems, CRM and sales methodology.

What cannot be taught is character, work ethic, curiosity, commercial drive and the instinct to understand people.

Remuneration

An initial base salary of approximately R30,000 – R40,000 per month will apply during the training and development phase.

The role will then move into a lower-base, commission-led structure with substantial earning potential. Established performers can earn between approximately R30,000 and R150,000+ per month, depending on sales performance.

Pay: R30 000,00 - R42 151,78 per month

• Design or Interior Design: 4 years (Preferred)
• External Sales: 3 years (Required)
