Job Advert Summary
Purpose of this job is to ensure proper functioning of all areas of pricing and planning.
The job entails preparatory work for all requirements in the price and planning management function of all products and services related to the Company activities which includes supplier price management, analysis of market pricing, campaign management as well as ensuring the Master Data is accurate and maintained.
Minimum Requirements
Must have Matric / Grade 12
Construction Equipment parts knowledge would be advantageous.
3-5 years working experience in a logistics or Supply Chain environment.
Diploma or degree in Supply Chain would be beneficial in this position.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel;
Knowledge of SAP or similar a software is a plus
Supply chain, warehouse and inventory background would be beneficial.
Working knowledge of WMS concepts and understanding of inventory.
Working Knowledge of Data Analysis and Marketing Analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work with Regional Managers and Parts Managers to understand various areas of business
Analyze and identify opportunities for marketing campaigns and track outcomes working with Regional Managers
Analyze the market and make recommendations on pricing strategy for each Region
Discuss and analyze general price increases with OEM Suppliers and make recommendations and agree on increase values
Analyze and create opportunities for bulk buying.
Negotiate deals with Suppliers on a special sales deal
Ensure the upload of the pricing on the SAP system is accurate and in line with recommendations
Ensure price queries are resolved and recorded and the impact thereof measured
Compile and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reports to measure growth, pricing and profit
Send out Bulletins to regions when required
Participate in projects where required
Able to utilize BI tools
Use information from external systems to do the required analysis on products and pricing
All master data to be controlled and regular maintenance and integrity of information checked
