Primary Healthcare Clinic Sister

Location: George, Western Cape, South Africa

We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and experienced Primary Healthcare Clinic Sister to join our private, farm-based healthcare clinic in the beautiful George area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality primary healthcare services while supporting the health and wellbeing of our employees.

Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to employees.

* Dispense medication in accordance with applicable legislation.

* Promote employee health and wellness through education and preventative healthcare initiatives.

* Manage occupational health programmes, including medical surveillance, health screenings, injury management, and workplace health promotion.

* Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare and occupational health legislation.

* Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality.

* Liaise with management regarding employee health trends and wellness initiatives.

Key Requirements

* Registered Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

* Qualification in Primary Healthcare (PHC).

* Valid Dispensing Licence (essential).

* Sound knowledge and practical experience in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).

* Experience in managing a primary healthcare clinic.

* Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and record-keeping abilities.

* Computer literacy.

* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with management and external healthcare providers.
