Requirements

• Matric/Grade 12, with a preference for a Post Matric Facilities

Management qualification

• 5 – 8 Years relevant experience within a Facilities

Management Environment

• Computer Literacy
• SAP Proficiency
• Valid Code EB Drivers Licence

Key Performance Areas

• Assist the Senior Professional Officer Facilities Management

Services in the provision of Facilities Management services

to a portfolio of assets.

• Responsible for the management of assets, logistics, staff

and systems

• The coordination of processes involved in outsourced

contracts by ensuring the efficient administration and

implementation of Service Level and operational agreements

• Overseeing the provision and management of tenant related

services to corporate buildings and buildings owned by

centralized asset users by ensuring that all tenant related

services are rendered

• Managing interaction with customers which include tenants,

Client Departments, contractors and the public

• Undertake inspections and ensure completion of Facility

Checklists at facilities to ensure that tenant services and

maintenance standards are adhered to

• To ensure in consultation with the Facilities Management

Maintenance teams that planned and reactive maintenance

activities are carried out at Corporate Facilities and Facilities

within the Centralised FM Portfolio of Assets

• Compilation of the necessary evacuation plans for a portfolio

of buildings.

• To establish safety committees and evacuation teams in
• order to ensure accessibility to and from buildings and that the

employees of the City are housed in a safe and healthy

environment
