Procurement Buyer

Role Description The Procurement Buyer is a full-time, on-site role based in Strand. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, requesting quotes, negotiating prices and terms, and issuing purchase orders in line with company policies. The Procurement Buyer will monitor inventory levels, track delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies with orders, invoices, or supplier performance. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate procurement records, collaborating with production and logistics teams to meet project timelines, and supporting continuous improvement of purchasing processes and cost efficiency.

Qualifications / Skills

• Candidates should possess strong Purchasing and Purchasing Processes skills, with experience managing supplier relationships and procurement workflows.
• Candidates should possess expertise in handling Purchase Orders, including order creation, tracking, and reconciliation with invoices and delivery documentation.
• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Electrical assemblies, Switchgear & control components
• Experience in industrial or electrical manufacturing environments, particularly within supply chain or procurement functions, is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of Sage Evolution and proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel) is preferred.
• Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: R30 000,00 - R40 000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
