Are you an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in demand planning, inventory management and supplier coordination ?

Austell Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Procurement Officer to join our Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for supporting the timely acquisition of products, monitoring supplier shipments and imports, analysing demand forecasts and helping ensure uninterrupted supply.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop accurate demand forecasts
Analyse historical sales data, market trends, demand patterns, lead times and minimum order quantities
Monitor inventory levels and adjust procurement plans to minimise stockouts and excess inventory
Place and manage supplier orders, lead times and delivery schedules
Track manufacturing dates, dispatches and import documentation
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers and logistics providers
Monitor supplier performance and escalate delivery or supply issues
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
Identify opportunities to improve procurement, forecasting and inventory processes
Maintain accurate supplier, importation and customs-related documentation

Minimum Responsibilites

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
3–5 years’ supply chain/procurement experience , preferably within an FMCG environment
Previous experience in procurement, demand planning and inventory management
Experience with demand-planning software and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
Strong Microsoft Excel and data-analysis skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational ability
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
Strong business acumen and negotiation capability
Ability to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s licence
